Stones matched as a pair
Both diamonds are selected together for colour, clarity and cut so the pair reads as one. A matched pair is harder to source than two individually fine stones, and it is the difference you notice in daylight.
Set to catch light from the side
Prongs and gallery are angled so the stone returns light in profile, not only from the front. That is the view other people actually see.
Balanced to sit upright
Posts and backs are weighted to the stone so a stud faces forward instead of tipping, a small engineering decision that mass-produced earrings skip.
